Refreshing Rosé: Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé

VillaWolfPinotNoirRose2014BottleCheck out this stunningly good, vividly refreshing value-priced Rosé from Riesling freak and Pinot Noir geek Ernie Loosen:

VILLA WOLF Pinot Noir Rosé, Pfalz, 2015 ($11.99)

A 100% Pinot Noir Rosé given four hours of skin contact and fermented in stainless steel tanks with no malo-lactic fermentation. Finished with a refreshing 1.17% residual sugar and a total acidity of 6.7 grams per liter.    Pale-pink in color with good legs; dry, light-bodied with crisp acidity and scant phenolics.  Delicious, supple and alive with Jolly Rancher melon and strawberry fruit balanced with mineral and citrus. BearScore: 91.
